Honourable Solomon Marine AKA The Osuopele 1 of the Niger Delta Region, a Blessing to his People

A worthy son is the happiness of his mother (people), so says the Holy Book. This statement of fact is the adorning feature of one of Niger Delta finesse.

Hon. SOLOMON MARINE aka OSUOPELE 1 is not only a blessing to his people (OLUGBOBIRI) Kingdom but also a worthy son of the Niger Delta Region.

Born into the family of Pa Marine of OLUGBOBIRI Kingdom in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Hon. Solomon Marine has grown from obscurity to becoming a shining light and a beacon of hope to the younger generation.

The OLUGBOBIRI born Niger Delta liberationist cum political and Spiritual magician is a man of many sides.

To the born Traditional Prophet, Which is also an expertise when it comes to security to the Bayelsa State Government, taking his kingdom to the highest pedestal of development is his topmost priority. This resolve he has continually demonstrated by attracting some legacy projects to his kingdom, which he played a significant role in its establishment.

As a security expert and a peace advocate, Hon. Solomon Marine is constantly working hand in glove with security agencies in collaboration with other relevant stakeholders to see that the prevailing peace in Olugbobiri Kingdom and its environ is sustained for socio-economic development because it is a common knowledge that there can be no meaningful development in an atmosphere of unrest.

The Osuopele 1 of the Niger Delta Region is a silent achiever, who unknown to his people is advancing the frontiers of his kingdom, as he always places the issues of the development of Olugbobiri in the forefront of any political discourse in Bayelsa State and also in the Niger Delta.

The people of Olugbobiri Kingdom in particular and Niger Delta, in general, are not only lucky to have Hon. Solomon Marine who will always put the interest of his people first before his personal aspirations, but are also blessed for having him as a worthy son of the soil.

However, ironically, all these scarce attributes that the peace ambassador has in ample supply could not be seen by his people let alone appreciated.

Could it be the affirmation of the proverbial saying that a prophet is not recognized or honoured even in his home town? we want to believe that this is not the case, because gratitude is like asking for more, and it is only human that those who have distinguished themselves in the selfless service to their people should be appreciated and celebrated.

It is therefore in the light of the foregoing that we wish to implore the people of Olugbobiri and Niger Delta to see Hon. Solomon Marine as a God sent, who is on a mission of liberating his people from the shackles of political deprivation and underdevelopment in order to implant them on the road map of development.

In this same vein, we wish to urge the Olugbobiri political and Spiritual mathematician not to rest on his oars in fighting for a better deal for his immediate Kingdom and the Niger Delta, while also reminding him that posterity remains the best judge.

Finally, it is our wish that God almighty continue to enlarge his coast, increase the milk of kindness in his kitty, and above all guard and protect him for the onerous task of the liberationist movement he is called into.
