A New Dawn Beacons As The Agadagba of Egbema Kingdom Bini Pere IV HRM Amb. Meshack E.A. Ubabiri is Coronated and Given Staff of Office by The Delta State Government

The much anticipated coronation of the Agadagba of Egbema kingdom, Bini Pere IV HRM Amb. Meshack E.A Ubabiri is finally here as the crème de la crème of Izon nation, Niger Delta, friends, well wishers across the globe are trouping into the ancient town Ogbudugbudu of Egbema kingdom to witness this epoch making event of the century.

It is noticeable that all adjoining roads leading to the palace of the revered monarch are wearing a new look befitting of this auspicious occasion.

No doubt, the ancient town is in agog as the atmosphere is nothing short of a carnival as different cultural troupes took time to show dexterity in their display to the delight and entertainment of spectators who are more than excited to be part of the making of history as well as catch a glimpse of the rich cultural heritage of the Izon nation.

Interestingly, we are more than proud to highlight the fact that the newest monarch in Nigeria is not only blessed but symbolically honoured, as he happens to be the only monarch on earth with a double scepter of authority whose fiefdom is both Delta and Edo States of Nigeria.

The people of the ancient kingdom couldn't hold back their joy as evident in their chanting of solidarity songs as dignitaries present took time to eulogize the King.

The occasion climaxed with the handing over of the staff of office by the Delta State Governor, ably represented by his dependable deputy, His Excellency Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, to signal a new dawn in the ancient kingdom.

At this juncture, we consider it most proper and expedient to recognize all those who played invaluable roles in the installation of this revered monarch as doing otherwise would amount to ingratitude.

Worthy of note are; the Ibe-Ebidouwei 1 of the Niger Delta, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo aka General Tompolo G.O.C and Comrade Super Layefa Kamboh alias General Seven Seas, who through thick and thin stood by the Bini Pere IV, working behind the scene to seeing to the actualization of this divine destiny.

Therefore, as the peoples' King ascends the ancient throne of his forbearers, we call on all sons and daughters of Egbema kingdom to shun all divisive tendencies and throw their weights behind the anointed one to bring the much needed development to the land.

In the same vein, we urge the monarch to be magnanimous in victory and carry everyone along in his scheme of things for the overall good of the ancient kingdom.

Submissively, it is our wish that God Almighty grants him uncanny wisdom to superintend the affairs of the ancient kingdom with justice and fairness.

It is our wish also that God Almighty guard and protect him against evil doers as well as grant him good health and longevity and finally crown his reign with peace and prosperity.
