The holy book succinctly states that when the righteous rule, the people rejoice. However, righteousness in this context doesn’t necessarily mean a fellow whose acts depict holier-than-thou, for it is a common belief that the robe doesn’t make the priest.

But, it is safe to ascribe righteousness in this sense to mean an act of goodness and a righteous person to be someone with a good and a large heart clothed and intoxicated with the spirit of love.

It is also an incontrovertible fact that someone with a large heart would make a better leader because leadership is more of service to the people than oneself.

No doubt this is the reason why it is a dying wish of a people or society to have a leader who sees their problems as his, someone who is not just sympathetic but empathic, someone who will always strive to improve their pathetic condition. Put differently, a selfless and sacrificial leader is the prayer point and earnest desire of a people.

Not a long while, the Traditional marathon begins in earnest and the search for the people’s representative intensifies, the petition of the people of Egbema kingdom to God for a quintessential and selfless leader was granted in the person Amb. Meshack E.A Ubabiri Bini Pere the 4th.

It is cheering to note that the people of Ajakurama in particular and those from the Egbema kingdom, in general, did not lose hope even when their faith is stretched to its limit in what is considered to be a tumultuous search for a messiah who is not only just qualified but also prepared and ready to embark on this destiny journey of transforming, restoring the lost glory of his people and to also liberate them from the clutches of internal imperialists, as they have waited with all sense of patience thus confirming the philosophy that hope remains the pillar of the world.

The name Amb. Meshack E.A Ubabiri Bini Pere the 4th, is now vociferous in the Traditional arena in Delta State, certainly and for surety, it rings a bell in the hearts of the downtrodden, neglected, and abandoned, who form his immediate kingdom.

The Ogbudugbudu born king cum philanthropist has since defeated the spirit of selfishness and has put on the clad of altruism and like rain, his magnanimity knows no bound. Little wonder why his heroic welcome to the throne after completing all Traditional sojourn was greeted with funfare amidst a jubilant crowd chanting songs of solidarity.

The entrance of the king into the Traditional arena is an acceptance of a divine calling which heralds good tidings and also signals the end to misrule, marginalization, and underdevelopment in both Warri North and Ovia South West Local Government Area of Delta and Edo State.

At this point of our Traditional peregrination, we cannot afford the luxury of experimenting with leadership because governance is too serious a business to be left in the hands of mediocre.

It is in the light of the foregoing that we again congratulates His Royal majesty Amb. Meshack E.A Ubabiri. The entire kingdom should understand the times that the era where competence is sacrificed on the altar of prebendary is over, for now, is the time to return power to the people, the original owners.
