THE OFFICE OF THE VICE PRESIDENT 1&2 DISTRIBUTED WRITING MATERIALS TO SELECTED SCHOOLS IN IKA NORTH EAST AND SOUTH RESPECTIVELY. IN CELEBRATION OF MAY 27TH CHILDREN'S DAY
As part of our commitments to the affair of the association and the good people of Ika kingdom. The Office of the Vice President 1 & 2 held by Comrade Hope Ighodaro, and Comrade Francis Ekpenisi, Visited selected schools in Both Ika south and North to sensitive the pupils on the essence of appreciating education and its societal impact, employing creativity and innovation to achieve a better educational set goal, prioritizing the educational core value And to distribute writing materials to students.
The exercise which began in the early hour of the yesterday also featured the payment of school expenses for 6 Primary school pupils, who were unable to meet up with the fee payment.
On arrival at the selected schools (Dein Primary School and Ngala Primary South in Ika South and North respectively), The vice president council were highly welcomed by the head of administration and staff, after which the purpose of our visit was unravelled to them, and various educational issues and challenges raised, all pertaining to the welfare of the students.
The exercise which is in celebration of May 27th Children's day is our little way of celebrating this indispensable day with our children, believing that every child is indeed a star, and hoping earnestly for a rejuvenated educational system in our dear country.
On behalf of the team, we wholeheartedly appreciate the State governor; Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, commissioner for education, local government chairperson in both Local government areas, and every other deserving Member of the cabinet, for putting so much effort to make the educational system of our dear State Better, and setting the pace for other states to follow after.
We also wish to appreciate the efforts of the Administrative head and staff of the school visited for their selfless services and cooperation towards the success of the project.
Finally, I wish to also appreciate my colleague, Comrade Francis Ekpenisi for his dedication, selflessness, and commitment to the success of this project, and to every other person who played a vital role...
On this note, I encourage us to put our hands together and build a better society for ourselves.
